BOTOX was first used in the treatment of strabismus and blepharospasm. It has now become the most commonly performed cosmetic procedure in North America, inhibiting nerve impulses that cause everything from wrinkles to stimulating sweat glands.
Today, BOTOX is used to fade and prevent lines and creases from reappearing. Botox is a protein derived from botulism toxin that is injected underneath skin in order to minimize or smooth out lines and wrinkles on the face. When low doses of Botox are used, it actually paralyzes or relaxes facial muscles, giving the recipient a clean, smooth facial appearance.
Dr. Homsy is fully certified in BOTOX treatments and provides full examinations and consultations.
Restylane is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds.
Restylane ® is one of the newest injectable, non-surgical facial treatments designed to slow and hide the effects of aging. Restylane® filler injections are composed of a clear hyaluronic acid-based gel that not only fills in lines and wrinkles in the face, but also adds moisture and lubrication to the skin, making it feel younger and more comfortable.
